Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, motivated and community-minded individual to join their team of professionals. This position will be responsible for supporting the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and related entities in their marketing and communication efforts. This will include enhancing brand visibility, increasing member engagement and promoting Chamber initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Manage social media accounts, including creating engaging written and visual content for all Chamber entities.
● Monitor and report on social media content performance to track success and optimize strategies.
● Design digital and printed marketing materials, including social media graphics, promotional flyers, brochures, etc.
● Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote Chamber events, initiatives and member businesses.
● Help maintain and update the Chamber website with news, events, blogs and member information.
● Assist with public relations efforts, including press releases and media outreach.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
● Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok)
● Graphic design skills with experience with Canva (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
● Basic knowledge of website content management systems (SquareSpace preferred)
● Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
● Passion for helping local businesses in Terre Haute, Vigo County and/or West Central Indiana thrive
● Proficiency in Google Business Suite, including Docs, Sheets, Forms is preferred
Additional Information:
● Full-time, approximately 40 hours/week with some flexible scheduling
● Some early morning, weekend and evening hours required
