Job Description
Admissions Supervisor
Department: Admissions
Reports To: Director of Operations
Summary: Assesses applications and makes approval or denial decisions, tracks vacancies, and makes referrals for leasing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
· Reviews every application for accuracy and required HUD content
· Makes approval or denial decisions, as per Housing Authority policies
· Tracks vacancies for all properties
· Fills vacancies in 1,234 housing units
· Manages the waiting lists for all properties
· Manages front desk area, supervising two full-time desk clerks
· Supervises purchasing process for office supplies
· Handles special order purchases
Qualification/Requirements
· Strong attention to detail
· Customer service skills
· Marketing and sales experience
· Basic computer skills
Education/Training/Experience
· High school diploma, plus at 2-5 years of experience in dealing with the public or social services
