What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support/Forklift position at TERREPOWER?
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of MAS Warehouse in Pharr, TX, the labor claims support position will support the logistics department by being responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation solutions for the crossing of cores and labor claims. A great asset for this position will be their ability to track and monitor multiple processes within the department. The labor claims support personnel will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
Process daily LC receivables
- Receive LC from carrier (UPS/FEDEX/USPS) and segregate from MRO/RAW material
- Handle each unit by staging and retrieving individual document for data entry in the LC database
- Process 6 steps for LC
- Log in LC TERREPOWER Database
- Separate LC and Core units as they need to be crossed separately
Core Purchase
- Receive and Identify core purchase unit and separate from regular cores
- Count individual unit and verify no other non TERREPOWER items are mixed
- Log in all units into an Excel spreadsheet per type/quantity
- Email Spreadsheet to Susan for PO approval
Core returns
- Keep record and communicate with appropriate parties for all Core Returns missing documentation so supply copies for processing
- Schedule Core Returns for specified customers using Oracle Service Request Portal (Create BOL’s, Validate customer documentation having only TERREPOWER Items)
Forklift Driver
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring products are stored correctly.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately labeling, counting, and tracking products.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating the forklift.
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment regularly to ensure it’s in good working condition.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily production goals and timelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely loading/unloading and shipment processing.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Follow all company policies, including safety, quality control, and environmental guidelines.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This is NOT all inclusive as other task do arise per volumes/personnel absence/ or new processes/projects.
- Respond to emails in request to crossing details and unit information as well as any other inquiries.
- Help in planning and maintaining of logistics policies and procedures
Work Environment:
Work is performed mostly in a controlled office atmosphere.
Business travel may be necessary, but not to exceed 10%.
Physical Demands:
Sitting 70%, standing/walking 30%. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk and hear.
