Position Summary
The Manager, Treasury and Risk Compliance performs advanced analyses and assists in high-level recommendations on a variety of global treasury and financial assurance activities including cash and investment management; financial assurance portfolio structure and cost; third party financing activities, planning and budgeting, risk management activities and other market-based analysis (interest rate and foreign currency hedging).
Responsibilities
- Manage daily global cash positioning and cash flow forecasting to minimize borrowing costs. Actively monitor and assess the cash forecast, analyzing differences between forecast and actuals, coordinating with accounting and financial analysis teams as required to support cash flow-related management and Board of Director reporting.
- Complete borrowing base calculations and support annual reviews to ensure adequate ABL capacity
- Provide analytical support for the global liquidity position of the company, making recommendations for revolving credit facility borrowings and repayments on a timely basis to ensure that cash flow is adequate to support business needs and that debt balances are managed to reduce costs.
- Work with global team members to ensure outgoing wire transfers are executed on a timely basis within the company’s internal control framework.
- Works with internal and external resources to ensure that all cash-related needs are addressed timely and accurately.
- Review bank account structure and make recommendations for increased efficiency. Prepare a regular bank fee analysis that can be used by the company to assess banking relationships and cost saving opportunities.
- Participates in the evaluation of the company's financing activities, including financings, lease versus buy analyses, and bank facilities.
- Monitors current market conditions and analyzes potential derivative transactions (primarily interest rate and foreign currency). Provides support to the organization by ensuring that derivative activities are carried out within the parameters of established policies and authorization limits.
- Actively manage responsibilities and deadlines to ensure that needs are met on a timely and effective basis.
- Use professional judgment and accounting/finance experience to assess the company’s overall financial position (computation of key financial ratios, benchmarking and stress testing), which will contribute to the compilation of financial presentations to the Board of Directors, senior management or the credit rating agencies as well as quarterly compliance reporting.
- Implement global treasury systems and controls.
- Benchmarking analysis – analyze financial performance with that of key competitors as well as industry trends; compare and contrast key customer’s financial performance.
- Provide analytical support to Treasury and FP&A on ad hoc/special projects.
- Lead global insurance renewals and policy management, working closely with the broker of record to mitigate risk
- Provide Information and support to the corporate EHS committee regarding controls and risk mitigation
Minimum Requirements
A. Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Math, Systems or other analytical area of study.
- Experience: 7–10 years of progressive experience in treasury management, financial risk, and compliance
- An advanced degree (MBA/Macc) or certification (CPA/CMA/CFA) preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, and risk management practices
- Hands-on experience with global cash and bank management, including daily positioning and forecasting
- Proven experience managing credit facilities, including ABL borrowing base support and covenant reporting
- Skilled in implementing and managing treasury systems and process automation

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a member of a team responsible for managing a broad and high volume set of financial instruments.
- Experience with acquisitions or multi-site integrations
- Proficient with Excel, Oracle, TMS, PowerPoint, word processing and Adobe.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize workflow.
- Experience preparing analysis and presentations for the C-Suite
