Job Description:
The Contractor shall provide Facilities Coordination and Planning Support to the NSWC PCD Facilities team. This role requires access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and involves a range of tasks to support the management, inspection, and coordination of facilities and related operations. The Contractor shall perform, but not be limited to, the following duties:
1. Conduct Site Visits:
- Facility Condition Verification: Conduct site visits to assess and verify existing facility conditions and identify deficiencies, providing feedback to the Facilities team.
- Follow-up on Repairs: Perform site visits to follow up on repairs and corrections both within and surrounding the facilities.
- Reporting: Submit detailed reports of site visit findings within a pre-determined timeframe.
2. Participate in Meetings:
- Regular Meetings: Attend recurring meetings with the NSWC PCD Facilities team, contributing to discussions and updates.
- Additional Meetings: Participate in other meetings as required to support facility management needs.
3. Communication:
- Communication with NSWC PCD Personnel: Ensure all relevant communications reach designated personnel within NSWC PCD.
- Informal Notifications: Send informal notifications as required, using email, phone, or other communication channels.
4. Technical Support of Requirements:
- Deficiency Analysis and Solutions: Provide technical support to the Facilities team to identify and develop solutions for facility-related deficiencies.
- End User Interface: Work with NSWC PCD end users to understand specific requirements and identify deficiencies.
- Work Review: Assist in reviewing completed work for accuracy and ensure it meets the necessary standards.
- Written Reports: Submit findings and recommendations in written or email form to the team as required.
- Review Timeliness: Complete all reviews within one week of receiving the necessary materials.
5. Participate in Inspections:
- Zone Inspections: Participate in Zone Inspections with the Facilities team, take notes on-site, and compile and distribute the findings to relevant parties.
- Other Facility Inspections: Conduct additional inspections to verify seating assignments, facility asset information, and the condition of facility equipment.
- Fleet Vehicle Program Inspections: Assist in inspections related to the Fleet Vehicle Program, ensuring accurate inventory records of non-tactical fleet vehicles and updating inventory trackers as necessary.
- Other Inspections: Provide support for any other facility-related inspections as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance, or coordination.
- Ability to conduct site visits, analyze deficiencies, and provide technical support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to participate in technical discussions.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and provide timely reports and feedback.
- Familiarity with the Fleet Vehicle Program and other related facility inspection processes is a plus.
Security Requirements:
- The Contractor must have the ability to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) as part of this role.
