So, what will the Management Analyst III at Terrestris do?
As the Management Analyst III, you will provide high-level professional and administrative support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). You will perform a broad range of analytical and management tasks to support organizational efficiency, operational performance, and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with Navy civilian and military personnel, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced government environment.
What does a typical day look like for the Management Analyst III?
You will:
· Analyze and evaluate complex administrative, operational, and organizational processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
· Prepare detailed reports, briefings, presentations, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
· Conduct cost-benefit and trend analysis to support resource planning and budgeting.
· Develop and implement performance metrics and tracking systems.
· Coordinate with various departments to streamline internal processes and improve service delivery.
· Support planning and execution of strategic initiatives and process improvement projects.
· Assist in drafting policy documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and organizational assessments.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with DoD and NSWC PHD standards.
· Provide direct support to senior leadership, including meeting coordination, data collection, and special projects.
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:
· A Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
· A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
· Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
· Experience with planning, submission, monitoring and reporting of annual budgets and execution is highly preferred.
· Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-visibility setting.
