This role requires someone with excellent leadership skills, in-depth technical knowledge, and a passion for ensuring high-quality installations that meet safety and regulatory standards.
Primary Job Duties :
Supervise and guide HVAC installation crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Ensure all installations meet company and industry quality standards, addressing issues promptly to minimize rework and delays.Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure installations are completed on time and in line with the project schedule.Promote and enforce safety standards and ensure the team adheres to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.Provide ongoing training and mentorship to junior installers, fostering a positive and productive team environment.Monitor and manage the tools, equipment, and materials needed for each job site, ensuring no delays due to lack of supplies.Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the installation process.Quickly identify and resolve any issues during installation, including handling any on-site challenges or unexpected complications.Complete necessary paperwork, including job reports, time tracking, and inventory logs, in a timely manner.Required Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation techniques, codes, and safety regulations.Proven ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.EPA CertificationAbility to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying equipment, climbing ladders, and crawling in tight spaces.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers.
