Automotive Sales and Finance Manager

Job Description: The Sales and Finance Specialist will play a dual role combining automotive sales expertise with a financial understanding to guide customers through the vehicle purchase process. You’ll be responsible for selling vehicles, assist the current financial manager, and working independently upon current finance manager off times and days. This position is designed to train the right candidate into a full time Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

· Construct a deal structure through desking software for bank/lender submittals to obtain customer credit application approvals.

· Work with bank/lender credit analysts for approvals, analyze bank structure approval and maximize profitability within banks approval.

· Present approval to retail customers, offer customers additional products e.g., extended warranties, gap insurance, paint protection, and maintenance products.

· Prepare State of CT compliant paperwork for final signing by customers for car sale.

· Work on the State of CT registration website for registration of customer vehicles.

· Forward all necessary signed paperwork banks require for dealership funding.

· Follow up with banks to ensure the dealership is funded by banks and provide any missing documents needed by banks for funding.

Qualification

· Proven automotive sales experience at the car dealership level.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain cool under pressure.

· Basic computer skills (CRM Software a plus).

· Valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
