Job Description
Tesis USA LLC. is hiring candidates for a Junior Automation Instrumentation Engineer (Electrical, PLC, HMI and production line machinery) position in Katy, TX with the following knowledge and abilities:
- Bachelor Degree as an Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation engineer or related in the automation field
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in the electrical and industrial automation environment (this is a must).
- Location: Katy, TX.
- Experience in PLCs, Drives, Scadas and HMI. (Required Allen Bradley, B&R and Schneider)
- Must have experience in the Pharmaceutical or Food industry.
- Proven initial experience in electrical cabinet mounting, terminations and conduit.
- Conduct routine tests, evaluate plant machinery and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues.
- maintain sensors, critical process production equipment and ensure the proper communication of them with the PLC.
- ensure the correct operation of equipment s and their connectivity (power and network)
- Maintain strict maintenance schedules for critical systems, logging all repairs and inspections.
- Quickly identify non-operative and malfunctioning systems before damage can occur.
- Troubleshoot test failures to determine root causes and develop processes to avoid repeat failure.
- Accurately log all maintenance performed on equipment and work with maintenance and production teams to ensure the availability of critical systems, maintaining a well-inventoried reservoir of parts and spares as necessary.
- Must have Electrical Experience.
- Must be able to use diagnostic tools for the analysis of the solution of automation problems. This is required.
- Sequential PLC programming.
- Knowledge of PLC and HMI communication networks: Profinet, Ethernet, ControlNet, Devicenet, Profibus DP, Modbus Plus, etc.
- System diagnostic programming.
- Advanced level knowledge of the use of hardware/software for Scadas
- English communication skills are required (speaking, writing and reading).
- Self-motivation and proactive behavior is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
