Tesla is seeking an Audio Engineer within the Infotainment Team who has had 5 years of design, test and release responsibility of Acoustics, Microphones and Signal Processing products. This Engineer should have a strong understanding of the application & design of microphones, and the ability to define, specify and set the requirements for these automotive acoustic sensing products. This engineer will also be a technical and process mentor for other engineers in the team and the company. This Engineer must thrive in a start-up company environment with great opportunities for growth and spectacular achievement.
Responsibilities
- Product development of microphones and audio sensing products from inception to end of life
- Knowledge of our audio systems, relative vehicle environment and integration
- Work with cross functional teams to create the best possible product
- Interpret, develop and manage product drawings and specifications
- Work with suppliers on design, development, and validation of audio products
- Testing of audio systems and components
- Plan, execute, interpret, and document product validation
- Component and system level troubleshooting

108,000 - $246,000 / annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
