We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector with expertise in codes and specification systems to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that installations meet project design documents, industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, witnessing tests, and verifying compliance with design specifications. You will work closely with Contractors, Construction Management, Commissioning Teams, Design Engineers, and other stakeholders to uphold the highest quality standards. The position requires a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. The role is field-based, with 75% of your time spent conducting inspections.
What You'll Do
- Perform regular inspections of electrical and control systems to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications, as well as local, state, and national regulations
- Verify that installations align with project specifications and engineering drawings; identify and document any non-conformances or defects
- Collaborate with contractors and project teams to address and resolve issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken
- Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the installation, testing, and operation of electrical and control systems
- Provide training and guidance to inspectors, contractors, and project personnel on quality standards and inspection processes
- Conduct audits of quality management systems to ensure compliance and recommend improvements
What You'll Bring
- 3-12 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the relevant discipline
- Strong knowledge of construction quality checks, drawings, specifications, and codes
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in computer and software applications
