What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Operations Specialist position at Tesla?
The Finance Operation Specialist will report directly to the Finops Supervisor and will assist in the day-to-day activities and various responsibilities pertaining to customer billing, cash application, investigation, reconciliation, and reporting within the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience in a fast-paced environment. The ability to meet deadlines and flexibility in handling changing priorities are essential to be successful in this position. This role can be in our Draper, Fremont or Austin locations.
Responsibilities
- Researching and processing incoming requests from internal and external customers
- Analyze and validate customer, product, and pricing data for completeness and accuracy
- Validate and confirm system production data against guaranteed output
- Investigate a resolve issues by reviewing historical transactions, contract data, reverse engineering, and coordination across multiple departments
- Accurate and timely responses to requests from internal customers including accounting, sales, customer care, legal, and senior management
- Create, upload, and modify journal entries into accounting system
- Generate payment requests from several internal departments
