This position is expected to start around May 2025 and continue through the Summer term (approximately August 2025) or into Fall 2025 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
International Students : If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. About the Team : Tesla is looking for a GRC Analyst to join our Global Risk and Compliance team. You will help GRC initiative to build and test IAM platform and run the risk and compliance efforts to design, evaluating, implementing, and improving Tesla's Business Process Controls. You will join the GRC team as part of the CIO's organization and manage activities across the global organization. The role will act as a liaison between the audit function, IT teams, Business and IT Security Teams across Tesla - you will work with SMEs across the organization to build and test IAM solution, strategies and become a key technical resource to support IAM platform.
Responsibilities
- Partner and coordinate with IT teams, application owner, management, and testing groups to best document IAM strategies
- Continuously identify areas of improvement, create action plans, and execute
- Continuously evaluate and provide suggestions to improve existing programs and practices, and to align with the organization's risk appetite and ensure regulatory compliance
- Ensures all system onboarding to IAM application are in accordance with Compliance and Governance standards
- Ensures the Governance, Risk and Compliance standards are followed in implementation of IAM strategies
- Ensures documentation of end-to-end testing and test strategies to IT teams and work towards automation testing effort for IAM tool
- Drive near-term test initiatives and communications to ensure alignment across the teams while optimizing performance of the project
- Facilitate test of design and test of effectiveness of IAM tool and process owners
- Continuously evaluate and provide suggestions to improve existing capabilities and practices, and to align with the program goal and ensure desired quality
