Gather information from customer provided blueprints and coordinate with Production Department for purchase orders scope of work and requirements which are required and necessary for machine shop and assembly work;Determine manufacturing steps and processes, equipment requirements, programming requirements, setup operations, material, labor, and other items necessary to perform work;CAD experience such as AutoCAD (Tooling) and Mastercam (CNC Mill / Lathe)Experience with the planning and manufacturing modules of ERP systemsWork with shop personnel and staff to understand and develop Engineering Masters;Troubleshoot and revise planning for process improvements as required;Manage and supervise production personnel to ensure that task are completed on time to support production goals;Resolve complex manufacturing defects and interface with the quality team on root cause analysis and corrective actions;Facilitate monthly process improvement meetings to improve manufacturing efficiency, ensure product quality, and lower costs for new and existing products;Communicate with supporting departments such as Customer Support, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure that product is delivered on time to the correct quantities;Assists in developing the manufacture of complex tools, interrelated mechanisms, and fixtures;Performs other duties as requested, assigned, or required; Management reserves the right to modify, add, or remove duties and to assign other duties as necessary;Occasionally lifts and moves materials that weigh up to 25 poundsAbout the company : Founded in 2007, TESSEC is a minority owned and Certified ISO AS9100 Rev D. / 9001-2015 compliant manufacturing operation led by an experienced management team .
