Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on equipment sales within the NDT market, with a particular emphasis on the oil and gas sector. This role requires a strong understanding of digital radiography with a willingness to become the go-to expert to support other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, communicate, and execute a quarterly strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the oil and gas industry.
· Identify and engage potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers.
· Travel approximately 50% to customer sites to maintain relationships, keep abreast of customer challenges, and potential upcoming projects.
· Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of NDT equipment, particularly the NOVO digital radiography system.
· Provide technical expertise and support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to our products.
· Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
· Collaborate with the marketing team and management to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the oil and gas sector.
· Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to management.
· Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and services.
· Represent the full line of offerings including capital equipment, consumables, and accessories.
· Create and update CRM to reflect activity and opportunity updates.
Qualifications:
· 10 years working within the NDT industry. LVL2/LVL3 certification in one or more NDT methods certification preferred.
· Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the NDT market or oil and gas industry.
· Familiarity with digital radiography and applications.
· Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in the NOVO digital radiography system.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
· Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
