Job Summary
The Senior UX Experience Manager will lead the vision and execution of a best-in-class digital experience, ensuring our digital products are user-centric, intuitive, and drive business impact. You will champion UX strategy, foster innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize digital interactions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on customer insights, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions
- Define and implement a digital experience strategy that aligns with business objectives and enhances user satisfaction.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to develop and refine user journeys that increase engagement and conversion rates.
- Lead UX research efforts, leveraging qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including usability testing, A/B testing, and heatmaps, to optimize digital interactions.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across digital platforms.
- Advocate for best UX practices, fostering a culture of design thinking and user-centered innovation within the organization.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of UX professionals, ensuring high performance and career growth.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations based on research and analytics.
Other Functions
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices, applying them to enhance our digital ecosystem.
- Collaborate with data analysts to extract meaningful insights and continuously improve the customer experience.
- Represent the UX function internally and externally, including participation in conferences, thought leadership, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of UX/UI design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing digital experiences that drive business impact, particularly in ecommerce or digital products.
- Strong familiarity with software development processes, including Agile methodologies, and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely, FullStory).
- Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles, accessibility standards, and front-end development constraints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to complex design challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across departments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
- Experience working with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
- Familiarity with front-end development constraints (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design feasibility.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data from A/B testing, heatmaps, and other UX research tools.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to develop and guide UX teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to implement inclusive design practices.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and working closely with engineering teams.
