What Will You Be Doing?

You will gain practical legal experience by supporting Frontier in-house attorneys in a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to, contracts, business law, employment/labor law, legal research and writing, and selected complaints/litigation, under the close supervision of a licensed attorney. This internship is for Summer 2025, 6/2/2025 - 8/29/2025, based in Denver, CO. “This internship is unpaid and is intended for law school students who are interested in obtaining work experience as part of their curriculum.

Essential Functions

  • Support the Contracts group in identifying and reviewing the key elements of contracts, and assisting with other contract management related matters (40%)
  • Legal research on a variety of areas, and summarizing findings in legal memoranda (30%)   
  • Support the Labor group in the grievance resolution process which may include investigation coordination with departmental subject matter experts and possibly attending grievance hearing meetings (15%)
  • Assist with the handling of certain passenger complaints and/or selected litigation (15%)

 Other Functions

  • Special projects as assigned by a supervising attorney

 Qualifications

  • In the process of obtaining a JD
  • Highly motivated, reliable and eager to learn.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills, good judgment and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in software systems to assist with job duties
  • Ability to work under the supervision of an attorney, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner with subordinates, peers, and all levels of management
  • Ability to work with confidential material

Standard office equipment, including PC, scanners, calculator, copier, printer 

Work Environment

Typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled 

Physical Effort

Generally, not required.

Supervision Received

Close Supervision:  The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedures and receives detailed instructions.  Work is checked frequently.
