Job Description
· We are seeking a Database Architect/Engineer with expertise in Oracle, NoSQL (DynamoDB), and AWS to lead database migration efforts, optimize query performance, and design scalable data models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning, with additional exposure to Neptune or any GraphDB as a plus.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead migration projects from Oracle to NoSQL (DynamoDB) while ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
· Design and implement scalable data models to support business applications.
· Optimize query performance across both relational and NoSQL databases.
· Develop and manage AWS-based database solutions, ensuring high availability and security.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements and implement best practices.
· Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, scalability, and security issues.
· Work with GraphDB solutions such as Amazon Neptune (preferred but not mandatory).
Qualifications
· 10 years of experience in database architecture, engineering, and performance tuning.
· Expertise in Oracle and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
· Hands-on experience in migrating relational databases to NoSQL.
· Strong knowledge of AWS database services (RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3, etc.).
· Proficiency in query performance tuning and indexing strategies.
· Experience in data modeling and schema design for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
· Exposure to Neptune or other GraphDB technologies is a plus.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
