JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for entire cleaning and disinfection process in endoscopy. Ensures appropriate decontamination and sterilization processes of supplies, equipment, and instruments. Assists with preparing reports, collecting data, developing policies and procedures, and implementing programs associated with the central sterile process. Performs job duties according to safety and regulatory recommendations. Recognizes and assists in the operational function of the surgery department through the management of their supply chain. This includes but not limited to supply ordering, organization, rotation, distribution and recommendations. Attention to detail and high degrees of accuracy are essential in this role.

Professional & Technical Skills
Prefer prior experience in Central Service or Surgery working with instruments, decontamination, and sterilization.
High School Graduate or equivalent
Possesses endoscope reprocessing certification through the CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution). Certification in CRCST strongly recommended.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
