Our company focuses on a range of equipment, including air data pressure calibrators, flightline test equipment, and related suport equipment and services. This position will directly support the Avionics Systems / Air Data Test business unit at the company’s offices located in Peterborough, NH.
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Inside Sales and Contracts Manager/Coordinator to oversee and support sales operations while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end sales process, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to sales and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day inside sales operations, including customer inquiries, quotes, and order processing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships
- Prepare sales quotes as requested in alignment with customer requirements and company policies
- Ensure all sales-related paperwork, including orders, contracts, and customer records, are accurately completed, organized, and maintained
- Oversee the order-to-invoice process to ensure on-time delivery and accurate billing
- Evaluate customer orders and contracts to ensure compliance with terms and company standards
- Coordinate with production and engineering personnel to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize customer value and sales revenue
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales processes, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Participation in yearly Raptor Scientific sales training
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude to address challenges proactively.
- Ability to interpret and understand customer orders, contracts, and technical documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce) or ERP systems (Infor Syteline or similar) is a plus.
- Previous experience with customer and government portals (e.g., SAP Ariba, Exostar, WAWF) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in inside sales, customer account management, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of industry standards and sales best practices.
Compensation
- Compensation includes an attractive compensation package, base salary (based on background and previous experience) and incentive bonuses.
