What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at Tetra Pak?
The Product Development Center (PDC) is looking for a Production Coordinator who will support the team in pilot trial scheduling, planning, submission & collection of documents to the customer to ensure successful pilot trial execution and customer satisfaction.
The position is based in Denton Texas, at our Tetra Pak site.Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
- Understand the client’s requests for pilot trials, then coordinate the trial to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
- PDC schedule. Manage pilot trial planning and submission of documents to the customer (service contract, forms, invoices, ingredient information sheet, ingredient verification, customer hosting, etc).
- Manage raw material supply, safe raw material delivery, supplier coordination, invoice procedures.
- After the test, coordinates the shipment of samples to the client and the project closing activities (quality, surveys, invoice,etc)
- Track all PDC Cost Centers (CC), bill to Tetra Pak and non-Tetra Pak entities, track payment.
- Ensure document quality and correct storage in folders for audits.
- Monitor the PDC's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Facility & Real Estate Management (FREM) and Legal Requirements activities, lead the implementation of identified improvements
- Responsible for scheduling facility maintenance activities and quality of utilities (water, cold water, steam, air).
- Co-operate very closely with the customer to represent Tetra Pak in a professional manner.
- Suggest improvement in development of PDC capability.
- Participate in development projects.
- Continuous improvement of equipment procedures, GMPs and quality requirements.
- Assists as necessary in the PDC in operation, maintenance, calibration, cleaning and laboratory analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent job experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production scheduling, production supplies, maintenance, task scheduling with direct contact with clients
- Microsoft Office
- Desirable SAP experience
- Customer service oriented
- Good communication and stakeholders’ management.
