Essential Duties:
- Writes company documents such as instruction manuals, intermediate to end-user manuals, reference guides, operating procedure guides, and technical bulletins
- Communicate with key stakeholders in all BUs to define top drive training content
- Manage the document development process
- Converts highly technical information in layman’s terms, explains the functionality of a product or service, and shares information among the organization
- Liaise with training department during the development phase of top drive training packages
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation
- Ensure consistency with existing documentation in terms of content, presentation, tone and style
- Review and/or edit content developed by other members of the team
- Managing and completing work on time for multiple content writing projects
- Flexibility, adaptability, planning, priority setting, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Ensure consistency with existing documentation in terms of content, presentation, tone and style
- Ability to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Engineering or field related preferred but not required
- EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience writing about oil and gas industry
- TRAVEL: 10%
