Your Role:
The Internship position provides opportunity for an Engineering student to obtain experience that will further their education and/or career interests. The Intern will assist the Portland office engineering staff on various types of projects including municipal water, recycled water, wastewater and storm water, and other projects. The successful candidate must be a college Junior or Senior, working toward a degree in Civil Engineering.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Responsible to develop construction document/drawings appropriate to programmatic requirements under the direction of the Project Manager
· Review and process shop drawings and submittals
· Continually coordinate with Engineering staff and all other departments
· Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
Qualifications:
· Junior or Senior in college, working toward a degree in Civil Engineering
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
This internship has a 6-month duration, 40 hours/week. Expected hourly rate is $22/hour.
