Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a chemical manufacturing facility, ensuring safe and efficient production by managing hourly staff, optimizing processes, maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, and meeting production targets, all while prioritizing safety and quality control within the plant's operations. Perform all other Operations Manager duties as assigned. This role will also act as backup to the Plant Manager.
Education and Position Requirements:
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering, or other engineering degree( Mechanical) with parallel chemical plant experience
- Significant experience in chemical manufacturing operations, preferably in a leadership role
- Expertise in chemical processing techniques, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse workforce
- Ability to make significant independent judgments.
- Ability to generate precise and accurate data/reports without significant supervision.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States in accordance with the terms of the Immigration Reform and Control Act
