Job Description: As a Landscape Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of landscapers to ensure the successful completion of landscape construction projects. You will oversee various tasks such as irrigation installation, hardscaping, planting, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of irrigation systems, proficiency in Spanish, and the ability to effectively schedule and coordinate crew activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of landscapers to execute landscape construction projects according to specifications and timelines.
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors, including fluent Spanish communication when necessary.
- Manage project schedules, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members on proper landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and care of tools and equipment.
- Assist with estimating project costs, ordering materials, and preparing job sites as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping, with a focus on irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Fluent in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking crew members.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in scheduling and time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Certification in irrigation installation and/or landscape construction is a plus.
