The Opportunity
The Senior Director, Head of Corporate Affairs, Global R&D and Business Development plays a pivotal role in increasing visibility of our science, innovation, and drug development capabilities to strengthen Teva's reputation as an innovative drug development company and leader in generics medicines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and executive communications with experience in pipeline, product/brand, and scientific communications in the Pharma industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic positioning and communication programming for internal and external stakeholders to drive forward the company's strategy and promote Teva's purpose, support the business, strengthen Teva's reputation, and build employee pride.
- Lead executive thought leadership for R&D, pipeline and business development communications, and internal engagement activities in alignment with enterprise communication objectives.
- Engage and collaborate with business partners across the drug development value chain to synthesize Teva's work in core therapeutic areas while also championing the company's leadership in generics medicines.
- Craft and deliver external executive communications to inspire confidence in the company's pipeline among key external audiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. Master's degree in communications, journalism, or life sciences is a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of corporate communications experience and at least 5 years of relevant experience in pipeline, product/brand or scientific communications in the Pharma industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience in communications leadership roles with proven ability in executive communications, public relations and organizational communications in R&D, Business Development and partner communications.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing and dynamic business environment.
