Clinical Team Leader- First Episode Psychosis Program
Role Responsibilities
This position is for a Clinical Team Leader, who must be a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Texas. The CTL will manage the Coordinated Specialty Care First Episode Psychosis. Individuals served will range in age from 15-30 years old. The CTL is responsible to ensure the program creates a trauma informed and client centered program that focuses on strengths and resiliency of the individuals served. The Team Leader will guide the team to focus on empowerment of the individual they are working with and to work on removing barriers in the way of progress and to be mindful of working on goals that are important to the individual in services. The CTL will be responsible to support and supervise staff and will perform CBT with clients. The position will perform clinical screenings and assessments to clients following First Episode Psychosis best practices following evidence-based models. The Team Leader must be proficient in providing crisis intervention services. The Team Leader is expected to monitor, gather and submit data for quarterly HHSC reporting requirements. This position is expected to monitor for safety and quality of services. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am- 5pm with flexibility to meet program needs. Location is primarily based in Fort Bend County. This position requires a Texas LCSW or LPC license and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the mental health field.
Salary
90% $73,238.26 annually
95% $77,307.05 annually
100% $81,375.84 annually
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- LPHA- Meets Texas requirements as a Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
- Texas driver’s license in good standing as defined by Texana Center’s procedure
- Five (5) years of direct service experience working with the mentally ill population
Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- Training in CBT Psychosis
- Past supervisory experience
- Spanish speaking
Job Related Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting and carrying (15-44#), pushing, stooping, repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting and twisting.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
- Qualified individual must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
