Clinical Team Leader - Texas Correctional Office on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments (TCOOMMI)
Role Responsibilities
The TCOOMMI Team Leader is responsible for the management of the daily operations of the TCOOMMI Adult & Juvenile Programs with the primary focus of public safety and offender mental health. General duties include direct supervision of the TCOOMMI Grant Program Staff in consultation with the TCOOMMI Program Director/Clinic Manager. The TCOOMMI Team Leader will ensure patient/offender services are delivered in a timely and effective manner and in compliance with the Texas Resiliency and Recovery (TRR) model of service delivery for patients meeting the state defined target population, TCOOMMI contract standards, and Texas Juvenile Probation Commission Special Needs Diversionary Program (SNDP) standards. This position is responsible for developing processes, monitoring, and ensuring all data is accurately reported in the TCOOMMI Database. The TCOOMMI Team Leader acts as the liaison to the Community Supervision and Corrections Departments (CSCD) in Fort Bend, Colorado, Austin, Wharton, and Waller Counties, along with Fort Bend Juvenile Probation Department, State Parole, and Fort Bend Felony Mental Health Court. Travel required and must have reliable vehicle for transportation. Mileage paid. This position reports directly to the TCOOMMI Director/Clinic Manager and accepts additional responsibilities as requested by supervisor. Routine hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with flexibility to meet program needs. The position is responsible for and accountable for adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy.
Salary
- 90% $73,238.26 to start
- 95% $77,307.05 at 6 mos. with satisfactory performance
- 100% $81,375.84 at 1 year with satisfactory performance
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist
- Texas driver’s license in good standing as defined by Texana Center’s procedure
- 2 years Clinical experience
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred

- Spanish speaking
Job Related Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting and carrying (15-44#), pushing, stooping, repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting and twisting.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
