MUST be competent in Medical Billing, Government Regulations, and QA. Preferred: Applicant has a business degree and/or be an Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the medical office, including staff supervision and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including a variety of governing bodies for an outpatient dialysis unit.
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Implement utilization management practices to optimize resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to medical terminology standards.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for efficient patient management.
- Coordinate critical care processes and ensure proper administrative support for medical staff.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Work with Physician to oversee staff and productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Office Manager or in a similar role within a healthcare setting and/or a business setting.
- Must be competent in Medical Billing, Government Regulations, and QA.
- Preferred: Applicant has a business degree and/or a current Registered Nurse license.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Experience in human resources management and utilization management is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
