Leveraging your expertise in charitable gift regulations, university policies, and financial procedures, you will analyze complex transactions, maintain accurate donor records, and process various forms of commitments. Your strong database navigation skills, proficiency in financial systems, and commitment to exceptional customer service will help uphold donor intent and support the institution’s philanthropic mission.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and critical thinking skills.

- Familiarity with financial, business, and accounting principles, concepts, and terminology.
- Experience in non-profit organization or higher education sectors.
- Knowledge of donor database management systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Manage donor information across multiple systems and reconcile transactions, including monthly gift reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
- Prepare quarterly board reports and year-end gift reports for audits and tax filings (990).
- Act as the primary contact for wire, ACH, and stock transactions, including vendor profile setup.
- Review donor gift agreements to ensure compliance with gifting guidelines.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute ad hoc and recurring specialized reports.
- Address complex donor and stakeholder inquiries.
- Produce gift-related communications and correspondence using email, microsoft word, mail merge functions and editing tools.

- Contribute to team effectiveness through knowledge-sharing and proactively identifying process improvements.
