What We Want
The SRS Research Administrator I, under general supervision, will be responsible for processing, administering, and submitting standard research proposal and budget documents that comply with sponsor guidelines, Federal Cost Accounting Standards, and Texas A&M University System member policies. Coordinates with sponsors to address questions to ensure accurate proposal submissions and post award management. Responsible for reviewing billing requirements, preparing quarterly and annual reports, monitoring standard awards, and ensuring compliance with policies, federal and state regulations, and sponsor requirements.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
Processes, analyzes, reconciles and submits billing for standard research projects. Responsible for reviewing billing requirements, preparing quarterly and annual reports, monitoring standard awards, and ensuring compliance with policies, federal and state regulations, and sponsor requirements.
Responsible for processing, administering, and submitting standard research proposal and budget documents that comply with sponsor guidelines, Federal Cost Accounting Standards, and Texas A&M University System member policies.
Coordinates with researchers and leadership to resolve proposal and project issues and provide information as requested. Coordinates with sponsors to address questions to ensure accurate proposal submissions and post award management.
Responsible for management oversight of the project. Prepares and submits standard proposals, quarterly, and annual reports.
Reviews standard proposal solicitations and award requirements.
Creates accounts and tracks deliverables in award management system.
Ensures compliance with institutional policies, federal and state regulations, and sponsor requirements
- Serves as a liaison with system members to communicate standard operating procedures.
