Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of experience in office administration
- Two years of related HUB experience
- Previous experience in Texas A&M University Legacy Accounting System; E-Commerce Solution
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Planning and organization skills
HUB Coordination And Oversight Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting the HUB Coordinator on HUB initiatives and TAMU HUB oversight
- Reviews and prepares HUB Subcontracting Plans (HSP)
- Reviews HUB classifications on the Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) and verifies HUB notifications
- Analyzes requirements for projects or initiatives and provides information regarding HUB procedures, services, or programs
- May attend meetings or committees on behalf of HUB Coordinator
- Compiles HUB data from various sources, ensuring timely submission of internal monthly reports, state-required semi-annual and annual reports, and monthly reports to the Legislative Budget Board and Comptroller's online reporting systems
- Fulfills all Procurement and HUB reporting requirements for the university and the State of Texas
- Conducts special analyses and prepares project summaries
- Is responsible for file retention of all HSP documentation and monitoring Program Assessment Reports (PAR) by prime suppliers on HUB subcontracting activities and compiling monthly PAR summaries
- Acts as a secondary HUB resource for both the internal university community and external entities
- Engages in planning and executing HUB operations, including outreach activities with potential HUB suppliers at various forums across the state, training procurement personnel on HUB initiatives, and promoting the HUB program as directed by the HUB Coordinator
- This position is security sensitive
- This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures
- All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirements
