The Postdoctoral Research Associate is responsible for conducting research into their field of expertise. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will utilize the skills and expertise granted to them by their education and experience to complete research projects in their field of expertise. The primary goal will be to assist in the implementation of ongoing grants, help with project management, conduct data analysis and write papers. Writings may include contributing to research papers, articles, and publications. The associate may collaborate with other researchers and/or faculty.

- Appropriate PhD with a focus on social sciences
- Experience working in health & nature

- Research: Under general supervision, is responsible for conducting research into their field of expertise. Utilizes knowledge and skills granted to them by their education and expertise to complete research projects in their field of expertise. Assists with the management of the ongoing projects. Analyzes and conducts research data and summarizes results. Contributes to research papers, articles, and publications and other written assignments as needed.
- Project Management: Assists in the coordination of assigned project. Tracks and monitors project grants and funding. Assists with project development. Creates, establishes, and maintains project files, databases, correspondence, and project materials. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Mentoring: May assist, mentor, and/or supervise student researchers and/or graduate students who are working on research related to the project.
- Presentations: Prepares presentation materials on research topic that may be presented to small and/or large groups. Actively participates in the preparation of required technical progress reports to research sponsors.
