Utility Foreman

Job Summary
Texas Clear Cut is seeking a full-time Utility Foreman to join our team. This individual will assist our senior utility superintendents and oversee specific projects and assigned personnel. This individual must have thorough experience on underground civil utility projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage civil utility projects, ensuring the project is executed successfully and on time

- Regularly communicate with senior superintendent to ensure the assigned project is on time, on budget, and on track to being carried out successfully

- Plan for necessary labor and oversee daily progress

- Set and communicate daily production goals for the crew

- Monitor and manage all aspects of the execution of the work: labor, material, schedule delays and any additional mobilization(s)

- Thoroughly track project equipment and materials

- Collaborate with general contractors to manage project sequences and additional scope items

- Handle client relations with professionalism and courtesy

- Oversee jobsite safety and ensure that all personnel have proper PPE, access to safety manuals and guidelines, and have been thoroughly trained

- Conduct daily safety meetings and prioritize safety compliance

Requirements
- MINIMUM two (2) years of experience in a supervisor position on civil utility projects is REQUIRED
- MUST demonstrate an in depth understanding of relevant safety guidelines and regulations
- MUST be dependable and able to reliably commute to jobsites on weekdays and weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Underground utilities: 5 years (Required)
• Civil Utility: 5 years (Required)
• foreman, project supervisor, or assistant superintendent: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• OSHA 10 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Temple, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Required)
