Description:
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in college or university student services, communications, educational leadership, or related field and experience in career services in a college or university is preferred. Provide career counseling services and work with academic programs and departments to promote services. Work with students individually and in groups to provide guidance and resources through career development and job seeking process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide individual career and academic guidance to students; provide resources and guidance to students seeking careers/employment; develop strong relationships with programs and faculty to promote Career Services; research, evaluate and maintain online resources for a variety of career issues, academic majors, and career fields; collaborate on the development and enhancement of Career Services websites and social media presence; facilitate workshops and class presentations on career services in academic classes, during campus visits by prospective students, and during new student orientation programs; assist in planning, administering, and assessing career services events and workshops; perform other duties as assigned.
