Essential Functions

- TIA System Development: Oversee the TIA local designation system development, application and approval, district system expansion/modification, and renewal processes, including the implementation of best practices and overall program approval.
- Educator Effectiveness: Develop and lead strategies to support districts in assessing and supporting educator effectiveness, including planning and coordination with select projects related T-TESS, TIA System development, and student growth.
- Partnerships: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to promote and meet division goals. These include districts, Education Service Centers, technical assistance providers, and internal teams at TEA.
- Team Management: Manage, coach and support the local designation system implementation team to provide appropriate professional growth and development in their efforts to provide technical assistance to districts, ESCs and TAPs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
- Experience: At least (6) years of experience in education, government service, or aligned experiences
- Substitutions: An advanced degree may substitute for two years of required experience
- Share the belief that all Texas students can achieve at high levels and are able to succeed in college, career, or the military
- Experience in school or district leadership or other aligned experiences
