The Director will focus on four key areas which include : Planning and Execution : Sets the strategic vision for and oversees the implementation of Texas’s Charter School Program Grant including annual competitive and non-competitive grant application processes, reporting, monitoring, and all Technical Assistance activities.Stakeholder Engagement : Successfully engages external and internal stakeholders including other CSA division staff, charter school and district leaders, and technical assistance providers to support high-quality implementation of all programming.Progress Monitoring and Continuous Improvement : Develops and implements effective techniques for evaluating programs by analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.Team Management : Effectively manages and supports the development of the Resources and Support team.This position will manage a multi-level team to execute this work and will report to the Director of the Charter School Authorizing.Flexible work location within the state of Texas may be considered for qualified candidates.Please note that a resume, tailored cover letter, and short answer responses are required attachments for applying to this position. Sector Support : Support the effective start-up and growth of state-authorized and district-authorized charter schools through the distribution of resources and technical assistance.2. District Authorizer Support : Develop processes, tools, and support systems for Texas school districts.3. District Charter Operator Support : Support Senate Bill 1882 operators in academic, finance, governance, and operations.4. Resource Campus Support : Develop application, process, tools, and launch the Resource Campus application for benefits.5. Team Management and Supervision : Build and manage a high quality, detail-oriented team.Qualifications Minimum QualificationsEducation : Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.Experience : At least five (5) years of experience in technical assistance and / or team management.Substitutions : An advanced degree may substitute for two years of required experience.Other QualificationsShare the belief that all Texas students can achieve at high levels and are able to succeed in college, career, or the military.Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, guidance, and agreements pertaining to grants administration.Detailed understanding of Texas charter school law and charter school authorizing best practices.Demonstrated success developing project plans and effectively managing projects.Exceptional personnel management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities while driving toward results.Consistently exercise excellent judgment, integrity, and commitment to personal responsibility and accountability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
