We’re seeking a Director of Business Growth to lead the strategy and expansion of our maintenance and plumbing company, real estate investing business, and property management company.
This role combines high-level strategic thinking with hands-on sales and relationship-building to drive results. You’ll be directly responsible for getting in front of potential customers, building key relationships, and implementing growth plans that make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth Leadership:
- Create and execute growth strategies for all business lines, focusing on increasing revenue and market presence.
- Collaborate with the owner to set priorities, identify new opportunities, and refine business processes to support expansion.
Hands-On Sales & Business Development:
- For Texas Elite Property Solutions (TEPS): Connect with individual homeowners, property managers, and businesses seeking maintenance or plumbing services. Promote subscription plans and ensure exceptional customer acquisition.
- For Angelo Rentals Property Management: Work with accidental landlords (e.g., those moving for work), small investors, and large-scale apartment complex owners to secure property management opportunities.
- For iHouse Buyers: Engage with other investors to explore funding partnerships, syndication opportunities, and growth in our investment portfolio. Lead the way on identifying and procuring properties for purchase.
Presentations & Relationship Building:
- Deliver compelling speeches, presentations, and pitches to diverse audiences, from homeowners to investors, corporate executives and trade associations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
Sales Team Leadership & Marketing Oversight:
- Develop and execute campaigns that align with growth strategies.
- Mentor and support sales efforts as we grow across the companies, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with business goals.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor KPIs and market trends, providing actionable insights to improve strategies and measure success.
- Meet certain weekly, monthly and quarterly goals as set by ownership.
- Report regularly to ownership with updates on progress and new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Leadership: 5 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic growth roles.
- Strategic Visionary: A big-picture thinker with the ability to execute plans and adapt strategies as needed.
- Sales Expertise: Strong ability to close deals and directly contribute to revenue growth through hands-on efforts.
- Engaging Presenter: Confident and dynamic in delivering pitches, speeches, and presentations.
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at connecting with diverse audiences and fostering meaningful partnerships.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive, self-driven, and eager to create innovative solutions to grow our businesses.
- Real Estate Knowledge (Preferred): While a real estate license isn’t required, candidates must be willing to obtain one within 6 months.
