Job Summary
The Loan Operations Assistant will perform various functions to accurately account for consumer and commercial loans. The specialist will also provide internal customer service and support for all loan inquiries and questions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Process daily loan payments.
- Review multiple reports daily for maintenance activity related to participation loan payments, interest rate changes, and loan overpayments.
- Handle credit bureau disputes.
- Handle draw requests for interim construction loans and revolving lines of credit.
- Image and index loan documents.
- Process all loan payoffs, including charge-offs.
- Maintenance of existing loans in the core system as needed.
- Handling all incoming mail for the back office.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Banking experience is preferred but not required.
- Part-time position 25-29 hours a week
- Communicate effectively with team members and internal and external auditors.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. These include computer skills, typing, and ten key skills, as well as the utilization of office equipment.
