Texas GovLink is an Austin-based firm and premier provider of technical and business staffing solutions for the State of Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Agile Project Leadto be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
**Location of job: This role requires candidates to live in the Austin Texas area. Candidates must be prepared to work 4-5 days onsite every week. **
Responsibilities
The Texas Department of Transportation uses the Agile Methodology in the development of their software solutions. They are seeking an experienced Agile Project Leader/Coach to further them in the use of the methodology in their software development. In this role the project leader will introduce and refine the use of Agile Frameworks like Kanban and Scrum, coach teams on best practices, provide training and mentor teams on the use of Agile.
Qualifications
Minimum (Required)
- 8 years experience using Agile methodology
- 8 years experience coaching and instructing on Agile
- Demonstrated experience in conducting training in Agile – list examples
- Demonstrated experience using Agile on large software development projects – list projects
Preferred (Optional)
- Certification as an Agile Practitioner
