Key Responsibilities Duties :
- Assess and prioritize patient phone calls, determining the urgency of care needed.
- Provide guidance based on established medical protocols and escalate cases as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals based on triage assessments.
- Assist with patient care, including obtaining vitals, updating medication lists, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Work closely with providers and clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient care.
- Take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.)
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Educate patients on dietary restrictions, medications, and disease management
- Sterilize instruments and maintain exam rooms
