GENERAL SUMMARY :
Responsible for strategic planning and strategic plan portfolio management, leading revenue growth and business development efforts at the division level playing a key role in business innovation and strategy. Drives sustainable revenue growth, strategy, and business development aligned with current and future state trends within the industry. Initiates and identifies new portfolio strategies, portfolio prioritization, and tracking / dashboarding of these priorities. Translates the system strategy across the division, leading division-wide planning, coordination, and implementation of strategic plans. Provides strategic direction across the division to senior and executive leaders grounded in business analytics, data, and predictive modeling. Provides monitoring and evaluation of delivery timelines and resource requirements to achieve goals within the division.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Growth & Business Development
- Lead overall growth strategy; develop and lead revenue generation and business development strategies and efforts.
- Identify innovative ways to grow business, platforms, and partnerships.
- Identify high priority strategic opportunities, risks, key capital projects and potential acquisitions and partnerships; develop new business opportunities for the division consistent with the mission.
- Develop and lead the execution of strategies to drive business growth; operationalize growth and physician alignment strategies and go-to market activations.
- Assess market development strategy and industry trends, leading to the generation of innovative ideas to improve current business plan and achieve desired results.
- Ensure the completion of market analysis of possible business opportunities and development of market development plan designed to meet the needs of each target market.
- Embrace acceleration zone practices through incorporating national best practices and innovative business models, from within and outside health care, into strategic planning and new business structure.
- Drive change initiatives necessary to carry out strategies and ensure that operational decision-making aligns with strategic objectives.
Partnerships
Engage AdventHealth market and strategy leaders to ensure alignment and foster internal partnerships.Build new partnerships to grow and sustain the organization.Lead efforts to identify merger or acquisition targets, partnerships, joint ventures and other strategic partnership opportunities.Responsible for the deal flow process to ensure potential partners align with the mission and culture of AdventHealth, deal terms drive the desired results, and timeliness in deal execution.Develop KPIs for each partnership and a system to monitor them to ensure partnerships deliver on the intended ROI.Planning
Lead the development of the strategic plan / framework for the organization while maintaining alignment to the system imperatives and the 2030 aspirations of a consumer-focused connected network and influential brand.Articulate and operationalize the division’s strategic plan; oversee the implementation of the strategic plan in close coordination with other members of the divisional leadership team.Responsible for developing the division capital plan; participate in the budget development process for resourcing strategy goals.Engage external business and industry experts to learn and influence business strategies, constantly remaining alert and forward-thinking about opportunities and risks in the industry.Continually, and proactively assess demographics, macroeconomics and competitive market issues impacting AdventHealth; utilize data, market intelligence, and tools like Buxton’s consumer / site strategy to map consumer personas and business models for plotting targeted growth locations, market dynamics, trends and competition.Ensure that appropriate metrics are in place to measure performance and progress towards strategic goals.Facilitate the annual Board / MEC Retreat(s) as well as executive and leadership retreats for the purpose of strategic planning.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

Experience in Strategic Planning.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Minimum of five (5) years in a senior management position.Minimum of three (3) years in Healthcare.Experience in Real Estate Development or equivalent experience.Experience in Contract Negotiations (closing and integrating transactions).LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :
