Job Purpose
The Educational Liaison works withchildren with hearing loss and their families by building and maintainingpositive relationships with educators and other professionals to ensurepositive educational outcomes. The Educational Liaison is also a member of thecochlear implant team at Texas Hearing Institute and collaborates with outsideprofessionals to provide updates to the team pre and post implant.
Major Responsibilities
- Provideseducational support for current and former THI clients and MWS students andtheir families
- Coordinatescare and services with other THI professionals
- Coordinateand facilitate various client engagement activities for THI families
