Warehouse Worker

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Worker will maintain the organization’s inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Maintains consistent stock of inventory and submits inventory report to management at end of every shift

Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Perform order fulfillment tasks, ensuring accurate picking and packing of products.

· Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.

· Maintains good working relationships with vendors.

· Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and delivered goods.

· Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

· Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.

· Operates forklift truck when necessary.

· Performs other related duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.

· Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.

· Proficient keyboarding skills.

· Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

· Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.

· Ability to perform basic math calculations.

• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

· Forklift operator certification preferred

Physicals Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.

· Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

· Must be able to stand and/or prolonged periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
