Texas Live!, a partnership between The Cordish Companies and the Texas Rangers, is a dynamic $250 million world-class dining, entertainment and hospitality district nestled between the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park and the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium in the heart of Arlington, TX. The project is part of a greater $1.25 billion vision for the Arlington stadium district that features a new Rangers ballpark; 200,000 square feet of best-in-class restaurants, retail and entertainment venues; a full-service 300-room convention hotel; 35,000 square feet of meeting/convention space; and a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Foster existing corporate partner relationships to ensure retention and growth.
- Network and build positive long-term relationships with key decision makers.
- Develop dynamic sales presentations for current and new marketing partners by incorporating research, category dynamics, and a clear understanding of partner's marketing goals.
- Manage and ensure activation of all marketing partner programs in cooperation with members of the activation staff.
- Successfully manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Provide accurate and reliable reporting information to be used in forecasting and management updates.
- Demonstrate an understanding of marketplace on both a local and national level.
- Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Being present, punctual and engaged during all scheduled departmental meetings. Share best practices, challenges, opportunities, etc.
- Assist and engage with prospects and partners during events as needed.
- Collaborate with multiple departments in a positive and respectful manner.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus must have minimum of 3 years sports and/or media industry sales experience in a corporate environment. College degree preferred. Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred.
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the brand and the Company.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
- Proficiency with MS Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
- Self-motivation with an ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, and client locations.
- Requires a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work an irregular schedule as job requires. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
