Texas Liver Consultants (TLC) is a thriving specialty medical practice. We have an opening for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who will work collaboratively with our team of dedicated liver specialists.
We are interested in employing an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our world-class team of highly skilled clinical experts.
Our Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners are instrumental in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, and care coordination for our patients as well as coordinating with the liver transplant team. Schedule is full-time weekdays and is clinic/office based, with no overnight call duties.
You provide a great attitude and we will teach the rest. We develop experts in the field and offer opportunities for teaching, publishing, and lecturing, if desired.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient information, visit history, lab follow-up, phone calls, and consults are accurately documented in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Answer emails/voicemails and return patient calls in a timely manner
- Serve as a resource person for the nursing and medical assistant staff
- Develop expertise in liver disorders
- Eventually work independently and provide high level care to patients with liver disease
Education/Experience:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited training program
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year of licensed advanced practice provider experience (Required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
- On the job training and education will be provided with both hands on experience and textbook knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
