Director of Surgical Services

• Location: West Palm Beach, FL
• Schedule: Full-Time | Days | No Weekends
• Compensation: $97,926 - $146,889 per year (Based on Experience)
• Bonus Potential: 15% 150% multiplier
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
• Relocation Assistance: Negotiable

We are seeking a Director of Surgical Services to lead and oversee the perioperative team, ensuring safe patient care while managing surgical operations efficiently. This role requires an experienced leader with a focus on surgical volume growth, operational excellence, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Lead the surgical services team with 24/7 oversight of operations.
• Identify potential issues affecting service delivery and implement effective solutions.
• Drive patient experience initiatives in surgical services.
• Mentor and develop staff through feedback, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies to enhance surgical efficiency and growth.
• Enforce standards of care for surgical services and oversee process improvements.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting and resource management.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services required.
• Current RN license required.
• Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
• Proven experience managing OR teams, surgical growth, and compliance.

• Reporting Structure: Reports to COO
• Team Size: 58 FTEs, Clinical Nurse Coordinators & Supervisors
• Surgical Facilities:
  • 7 ORs (including a cysto room)
  • ~2,200 surgical cases annually
  • ~2,000 endoscopy cases annually
• Surgical Specialties:
  • General, robotics, spine, women’s services, vascular, podiatry, urology
