- Hourly Rate: $34.24 - $45.75 (Based on experience)
- Night Differential: $3.75 per hour
- Weekend Differential: $6.00 per hour
- Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
- Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (for candidates relocating over 50 miles)
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while managing staff and overseeing daily unit operations during night shifts. Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assess, monitor, and document patient symptoms or condition changes. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Leadership: Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring accountability for patient care. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members
- Education: Educate patients, families, and caregivers to promote understanding of treatment and care plans
- Safety & Compliance: Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a secure patient and staff environment
- Quality Improvement: Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Licensure & Education:
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (required)
- Associate’s degree in nursing (required), Bachelor’s degree preferred
- BLS from the American Heart Association (required)
- ACLS and PALS (must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
- CPI (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience (ER, ICU, or Psych nursing preferred)
- At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
- Experience in a Level III Trauma Center is a plus
- Level III Trauma Center
- Unit Size: 22 beds
- Team Size: 73 FTEs
- Daily Patient Volume: Up to 166 patients
- Charting System: MediTech (experience preferred but not required)
- Leadership Development: Access to continuing education and leadership training
