Salary : $30.60–$45.90 / hour (based on experience)

Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in transplant care, oncology, or hematology? Join a premier healthcare provider in Gainesville, FL , and play a critical role in launching a new Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Unit opened on November 1, 2024 . This is a full-time, day shift position (Monday–Friday) , offering competitive pay, generous bonuses, and relocation assistance (case by case).

Your Role as an Immune Effector Therapy Coordinator

As an Immune Effector Therapy Coordinator , you’ll lead and coordinate care for patients undergoing transplant and cellular therapies. Here’s what you’ll do :

Patient Care Coordination :

Serve as a resource for the multidisciplinary team on transplant care protocols and procedures.

Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and their support systems to ensure seamless care transitions.

Telemedicine & Collaboration :

Coordinate and participate in telemedicine conferences with transplant physicians, referring physicians, and patients.

Act as a liaison between the hospital, patients, and external care teams to ensure continuity of care.

Training & Education :

Participate in formal training programs covering transplant and cellular therapy protocols, pathways, and accreditation standards (e.g., FACT and CIBMTR).

Incorporate ANA Standards of Care and Professional Practice into daily responsibilities.

Leadership & Process Improvement :

Promote best practices and lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Stay current with advancements in transplant and cellular therapy to enhance program quality.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need :

Experience :

3 years of recent (within the last year) acute care leadership experience in transplant, BMT, blood cancer, hematology, or oncology (flexible for candidates with 1–2 years of relevant leadership experience).

Prior experience in a Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT), Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), or Blood and Marrow Transplant program is highly preferred.

Education :

Current Registered Nurse license in Florida or a multistate license.

Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN), Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree must be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Certifications : Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.

Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
