Location : Chattanooga, TN
Salary : $29.30 - $43.94 per hour (Based on Experience)
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000
Relocation Assistance : Case-by-Case Basis
About the Role
A leading healthcare facility in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily lab operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage laboratory personnel. This full-time, weekday-only position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Technologist to step into a leadership role.
Responsibilities
Supervise technical and non-technical lab personnel
Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Oversee specimen collection, processing, and referral testing
Assist with budgeting, personnel management, and department goals
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Support intra and inter-departmental collaboration
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Required)
5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist
Active Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License (Required at time of application)
Licensure in three technical specialty areas preferred
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and laboratory information systems
MediTech experience preferred
